The coast in December

Rebecca and I are heading to charleston this weekend for the garden & gun jubilee...

But, we stopped off for the night to stay in a cabin on edisto and woke up to this view. Beautiful.

old town buildings

it isn't all that uncommon to drive through any small town in the south and see a line of old town buildings, closed for buisiness.  we drove by this group of buildings in south georgia and i loved the vines that moved and probably helped take it down.  now these vines are the only thing keeping it standing.

last week, my sister lucy and i did a tablescape for design*sponge. we loved the little flower/feather arrangements we did, and i added more to mine after the shoot was over. i love the burnished golds....and it will last forever!
