all week there has been rumors of wintry mix here in the south.  99% of the time it is just a big huge build up of excitement and all we get is some rain.

early cotton

yesterday, i went down to photograph the olive harvest with these folks(more on that soon...). on the drive home, i stopped to take photos of things i saw...it is rare that i have the time to do so, so i really enjoyed it. it was such a pretty early fall day. right now, the fields of cotton are beginning to whiten up. i had to bring a little bit home with me.

Out of Order

I passed by this tractor the other day.  I think it is safe to assume that it is 'out of order'.

Cotton Country

We headed to the country to see if the cotton fields were bursting in white yet.  I knew it was probably early, they are just getting started.  It is just a matter of time to see the white fields.....our southern snow.

The Bostwick Cotton Gin

We stopped by the Cotton Gin in Bostwick, Georgia.  I have been here dozens and dozens of times. Everytime is just as inspiring as the last.
