mandy made another beautiful arrangement last week...you can see a full photo of the arrangement on  from a week ago, but, today, i wanted to share images from after the arrangements were taken apart...mandy grew these anemones in the greenhouse at 3 porch farm. enjoy looking at them...next week, we will look at them again, in a different way...

as we wrote yesterday, we always enjoy a road trip to our friends' dahlia farm in nearby greene county...the frost hit last weekend, so the dahlias are gone until next year. so, please enjoy this dash of color and some animal life from a recent visit to their farm!

it's getting to be my favorite time of year, garden wise. i LOVE when things are dying and overgrowing and blooming all at once. blooming colors and dying colors all embraced together. and the colors! here's some changing colors, heralding falls new pallet.
