holcomb’s bar b q sits at the intersection of highway 278 and 15 in Greensboro, Georgia. It’s been there 30 years or so. it seems like if a bar b q place opens and has good bar b q, it’s just a matter of time before it’s been open 20 – 30 years. holcomb’s is in an old gas station, and all they have is pork bar b q, chopped or sliced. ( when it says ‘chop’ on the menu, it means ‘chopped’, not pork chop.) there’s a container of extra pickles on each table, and good sweet tea. ( no unsweet tea in these parts! )
